2012 Unified Literary Contest
We’re elated to share that Branch Magazine is participating in the 2012 Unified Literary Contest, organized by Summer Literary Seminars. The top prizes grant 2 winners the choice of attending one of the Summer Literary Seminars in either MONTREAL, LITHUANIA or KENYA. Each will receive free tuition, accommodations, and travel. Pretty amazing.

Branch featured in The Center for Fiction
We were honoured when Dawn Raffel, editor of The Literarian, selected Branch as one of the contributing journals to feature in their current issue (up now!). They published “The Living on This Beach” by Alex Leslie, originally published in Issue 5 of Branch. We’re tickled pink!

Today I participated in a panel discussion at SLS with Jared Bland (of The Walrus) and Dawn Raffel (of The Literarian) about the online journal. I was moved by the sincerity of the audience’s appreciation for Branch and I wish Rob had been there to fill out those technical gaps….
